Hi, I am Susie Alderson

Your nutrition, reflexology & wellbeing coach in Berkhamsted
Offering therapies to help defend against dementia

I have a particular interest in optimising future cognitive health through diet and lifestyle changes

Hello & Welcome

Now that I have reached a certain age I am more concerned about how I age and avoiding degenerative diseases, particularly dementia, which almost seem inevitable. But diet and lifestyle changes now can impact the future so I want to support you to adopt a diet and lifestyle which can take you through to a healthy old age.

If you’ve had enough of feeling exhausted, being out of shape and not looking and feeling your best and are worried about the future help is at hand.

I have a friendly and realistic approach, getting to know you in order to ensure the best health programme to meet your needs and lifestyle.

Reflexology combined with a nutrition programme is particularly powerful for enhanced detoxification and combating the effects of a stressful life.

"Wellbeing, well done"

I am a registered Nutrition and wellbeing specialist who focuses on working with women who are so busy juggling families, careers and a hundred other daily tasks that their own health and wellbeing comes at the bottom of the list.

But what you do now in terms of diet and lifestyle can impact how your body ages and the likelihood of degenerative diseases. We all might be living longer but we are not living healthier.

I am a member of the British Association of Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT) and am registered with the CNHC.

I am also a qualified Reflexologist and a member of the Association of Reflexologists (AoR).

What I can do for you

Nutritional Therapy uses evidence based scientific research.  It is all about making sure that you get the best nutritional balance for your individual needs.

If you are an athlete looking to improve your speed or endurance your requirements will be very different to those of a 70 year old women with osteoporosis.

Age, activity level and lifestyle factors all influence what your body needs.

Reflexology has developed into a very versatile and popular complementary therapy which can help to restore the body’s natural balance by instilling deep relaxation, reducing stress and promoting healing.

It improves circulation, nerve function and helps to cleanse the body of toxins.  Regular treatments are an enjoyable preventative therapy.

Recent research projects on Alzheimer’s Disease indicate that diet and lifestyle changes can help prevent and even reverse the early stages of the disease.

I hold regular FREE talks for anyone who is interested in Alzheimer’s Disease, dementia, cognitive health and diet and lifestyle advise. See my blog page for details of the next talk or contact me directly for information or to book a place.
